DAYTON — Verna Fischer, of Dayton, will celebrate her 90th birthday on Oct. 18.

There will be an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Dayton Methodist Church, 107 Third St. N.W., Dayton.

Her family includes Dan and Judy Fischer, of The Villages, Florida. She has two granddaughters, one step-grandson, and five great-grandchildren. Her husband, Sonny, is deceased.
