Gerry Knudson, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. on May 5 at Loomis Park.
His family includes Eileen Helmers, Marti and Johnny Williams, and Cheryl and Bill Cerwick, all of Fort Dodge. He has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. His wife, Arlys, is deceased.
Knudson was born April 21, 1939. He is retired from Fort Dodge Laboratories.
