After struggling in the opener here on Monday, the St. Edmond baseball team made some adjustments and returned the favor against Clear Lake at Rogers Park. The Gaels (7-6 overall, 3-5 in the North Central Conference) rolled to a 13-6 victory to split an NCC doubleheader against the Lions (5-6, 4-4). AMES — The 10th-ranked (Class 4A) Fort Dodge baseball team earned a pivotal early Iowa Alliance Conference sweep over Ames here Monday night. Scores were 3-2 and 14-2 in five innings.
