One killed in Humboldt County crash HUMBOLDT — One person was killed in a crash Wednesday afternoon on Iowa Highway 3 east of Humboldt. The Iowa State Patrol has not released the individual’s name, pending the notification of their family. The crash happened at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday on Iowa Highway 3 between Quebec and Roosevelt avenues. Troopers reported that a 2020 Ford Edge was eastbound on the highway when it crossed the center line.
