Lynx improve to 6-1
WEBSTER CITY – The 10th-ranked (Class 3A) Webster City football team dominated Perry here Friday night, 55-0.
Robert Fredriksen carried the ball 23 times for 139 yards and two scores, while Dylan Steen added two touchdowns and 101 yards on just a pair of carries.
Payton Kannuan showed off his array of skills, rushing eight times for 67 yards and a score, returning a punt 60 yards for a score and throwing a 30-yard TD pass for the Lynx (6-1 overall, 4-1 in 3A, District 2).
The Webster City defense limited Perry (2-5, 0-5) to 41 yards of total offense and had interceptions by Zane Carter and Drake Doolittle.
