Shooting event scheduled for Thursday in Fort Dodge

If you like fruits and vegetables and enjoy sports shooting then Thursday night at the Iowa Central Sports Shooting Range is the place for you.

The Gould Brothers will put on an Exhibition Shooting show at the Range, which is located at 2091 Rich Mill Road. The event will begin at 6 p.m.

Aaron and Steve Gould starting shooting together in 2007 and both share the passion of exhibition shooting.

The brothers will put on a display of shooting which involves targets such as watermelons, balloons, basketballs and many more props.

Aaron’s love for shooting evolved from the .22 rifle to archery, black powder and shotguns.

Steve’s admiration for shooting started much later in life. Once he was in college and after a life changing experience and giving his life to the Lord, Steve found his passion.

After both brothers watched a live exhibition shooting event by Tom Knapp, they were hooked turned their love of trick shooting into a career.

Local partners from Webster County Pheasants Forever and Webster County Conservation will be putting on the event.

All equipment will be provided by both groups and there is a free youth clinic, which is all filled up, but will be taught by the Iowa Central Sports Shooting Team.

There will also be a shotgun raffle during this family fun event.

A dinner of pork patty or brat with two sides and a drink will also be served for $6.
