Top-ranked and No. 1 seed Exira-EHK/Audubon rebounded from a tough loss by eliminating West Monona here Tuesday in four innings, 11-1.
Riley Miller homered, drove in four and struck out four inside the circle for Exira-EHK/Audubon. Taryn Petersen scored three runs and Bryli Petersen drove in two.
For West Monona, Georgia Jones scored the lone run and had a hit.
Remsen St. Mary's 7, North Butler 6
Remsen St. Mary's left North Butler heartbroken for the second straight day, eliminating the Bears with a stunning 7-6 victory in a Class 1A elimination contest here Tuesday at Rogers Park.
The Bearcats fell on Monday to defending state champion Clarksville in 15 innings, 12-11. Much like that one, North Butler had the lead in the seventh but could not hold it.
Sophia Harpeneau delivered a two-RBI single to win it, keeping the Hawks alive. That was her only hit of the game, as Chloe Homan was 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI, as Lana Jungers had two hits.
Zoey Thompson had two hits and scored two runs, as Mackenzie Schultz drove in two with two hits for the Bearcats.
