Tritons push win streak to eight

MELBOUNRE, Fla. — The Iowa Central softball team picked up two more wins during a spring break trip to Florida on Wednesday from the USSSA Space Coast Stadium. After shutting St. Cloud State out in the opener, 8-0 in five innings, the Tritons dominated Macomb in five, 16-8. Former St. Edmond all-stater Lauren Gibb hit a home run, as did Natalie Rasmussen. Cadence Touney, a Fort Dodge Senior High grad, recorded a triple, with Rasmussen and Kyra Kain each doing the same.
