Gaels ready for districts

The road to the state baseball tournament will begin here Friday night at home for St. Edmond. The Gaels (12-11 overall) are set to host Glidden-Ralston (5-13) in a Class 1A, District 6 quarterfinal at 7 p.m. AGWSR (11-12) and Colo-Nesco (8-11) square off before at 5 p.m. Under first year head coach Jordan Miller, St. Edmond finished fifth in the North Central Conference — a league loaded with 3A and 2A programs.
