Jordon McCubbin wasn't sure how the reaction would be to forming a professional wrestling promotion in Fort Dodge along with Alex McCarthy.

But after one event, McCubbin knew he had something with a strong present and future to build upon.

Pro Wrestling Frenzy will host its second event on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Fort Frenzy. Titled "The Frenzy Strikes Back," the event follows "The Frenzy Begins," which was held on Sept. 5 of this year to mark the debut for the promotion.

"It was a fantastic live show," McCubbin said. "Pro Wrestling Frenzy's goal is to bring high-quality wrestling entertainment to Fort Dodge and our region. The Frenzy Begins brought out some of the best talent and the best fans.

"We are so grateful for the wonderful response from our community. It was a wildly successful inaugural live event. The biggest surprise by far was the quality of the first event and how well the fans responded.

"We can clean up some small operational details, but overall, we learned that we have something incredibly special here. The magic was real."

McCubbin, the general manager of business operations at Fort Frenzy, has handled live events for the past eight years. McCarthy has been working with SCWPro out of the Quad Cities for the past 10 years.

"Alex is well known within the Iowa pro wrestling community, and just happens to be my brother-in-law," McCubbin said. "He's an expert on what it takes to make a successful event happen here in Fort Dodge.

"For years, we've talked about doing our own promotion together. Ultimately, the time felt right to just do it."

Plans are in place for two more live events following the November card, with a season finale taking place in May. They will take the summer months off for planning before returning in September 2027.

"It's so fun," McCubbin said. "It's two hours of wrestling entertainment where you can bring the whole family to enjoy a night of laughs, tears and magic. At $10 a head, it's affordable as well.

"Alex has curated some of the best matches in Iowa, and you get to enjoy it all in a safe and clean facility."

Pro Wrestling Frenzy events are posted on YouTube for viewing after they take place live. The promotion also has social media pages on Facebook and Instagram where they post news, upcoming events and exclusive real-time updates on the action.

Tickets for Pro Wrestling Frenzy: The Frenzy Strikes Back can be purchased online and at Fort Frenzy for $10 for general admission and $20 for VIP, which includes a front-row seat, early access and a signed event poster.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with action starting at 6 p.m.
