MANSON – The St. Edmond volleyball team scored a sweep over Manson Northwest Webster here on Tuesday night.

Scores were 26-24, 25-15 and 25-19.

The Gaels (11-15 overall) picked up their fourth straight victory over the Cougars since 2023, with two of those coming in three sets. The other two matches both went the distance.

Eden Horn tallied 22 kills and four aces, Rihanna Myers had 18 assists, Abby Huss nine assists and Ella Vandi tallied 15 digs.

"I want to give some credit to some of our role players," SEHS head coach Lindsay Heffernan said. "Although players like Eden stepped up, we are starting to see some of our players who, at the beginning of the season, were not making an impact, contribute in key and important ways.

"It shows a lot about those players that they have been working hard at skills and scenarios we have asked them to this entire season. We're seeing that hard work pay off. I am proud of all of our players for stepping up and playing a great match."

St. Edmond is back in action on Thursday for its final North Central Conference match at Iowa Falls-Alden. The Gaels compete Saturday at the Algona October Invitational alongside the host Bulldogs, Emmetsburg, Decorah, Forest City, No. 13 (Class 2A) Lake Mills, fourth-ranked (2A) Riverside and Spencer.
