SIOUX CITY -- A second-half goal by Pablo Lopez Mari allowed the Iowa Central men's soccer squad to escape Western Iowa Tech on the road Saturday, 1-0.
Marcus Aberg had the assist on the Lopez Mari score, which came in the 70th minute. Keeper Lautaro Real did the rest for the Tritons (7-2 overall, 3-0 in the ICCAC), who won their sixth consecutive match and pitched their third straight shutout.
Iowa Central has allowed only one goal during its streak.
The Comets fell to 6-4-1 on the season with the loss.
