WATERLOO – The fourth-ranked Iowa Central volleyball team returned to ICCAC play with a straight-set sweep over Hawkeye here Tuesday night.
Scores were 25-16, 25-20 and 29-27.
After finishing off play at the Triton Invitational on Saturday with a win over Madison, Iowa Central (12-1 overall, 3-0 in league) made quick work of the RedTails.
Cooper Griffin had 16 kills and 11 digs, Kampbell Bryte added 12 kills and Annie Elbert had 36 assists for the Tritons. Meah McCaleb tallied 12 digs with three aces, as Abby Jensen finished with 28 digs.
Iowa Central returns home to host NIACC on Thursday inside Hodges Fieldhouse beginning at 6 p.m.
