CICERO, Ill. – The No. 15 Iowa Central women's soccer team picked up a one-sided victory over Morton earlier this week, 9-1.
Karma McMorris had two goals and two assists to lead the Tritons (3-2 overall). Ava Rudolph, Ronniellia Bubb, Blanca Montana Carrera, Rebekah Gramer, Miikawaadizi Novak and Abigail Williams each scored once.
"It was great to see so many girls record a goal," ICCC head coach Jordan Sibenaller said. "We did a great job passing and sharing the ball. It was a lot of fun to see them have success again."
Rudolph, Bubb, Carrera and Gramer each added an assist to their goal. Alyssa Tucker recorded a save in net.
Iowa Central finished with 25 shots, including 14 in the first half. They had seven corners in the match.
Up next for the Tritons will be NIACC on Friday at home.
