MARSHALLTOWN -- The Fort Dodge boys golf team competed at the Joe August tournament in Marshalltown on Thursday.
Dallas Center-Grimes (291) was the team champion and Fort Dodge placed ninth with a 324.
Trace Rial and Davis Underberg both shot 78s for the Dodgers. Camden Sassman had an 81 and Mason Frevert checked in with an 87.
Cameron Beck had a 98 and Camden Doster had a 99.
"Trace and Davis played really well," said Fort Dodge head coach Nick Vinson. "In the grand scheme of things, a 324 was a good score.
"Last week we shot a 336 and I felt that was good, so to come out and shoot a 324 and know we left shots out there…that’s promising."
The Dodgers are back in action on Monday at Indianola.
