Triton men come up short on the road

MARSHALLTOWN – The Iowa Central men's soccer team fell to Marshalltown here on Tuesday, 3-0.

The Tigers scored all three of their goals in the opening half to hand the Tritons (1-1 overall) their first loss of the season.

Last Thursday, Iowa Central posted a 4-0 victory over East Central College on the road. Haruki Hayashi had a hat trick, with Javier Alvarado adding a goal and an assist.

Pablo Lopez Mari and Lautaro Brunig Leites each recorded an assist.

The Tritons travel to Sedalia, Mo. on Saturday to face State Fair at 3 p.m.
