Sports Park Raceway hosts Kids Night

Kids Night at Sports Park Raceway, sponsored by Kemna Auto, attracted a large crowd and produced winners in eight different divisions on Sunday in Fort Dodge.
Youth attendees participated in autograph sessions, race-car ride-alongs, giveaway specials, and drawings for flaggers, announcers and trophy presentations in victory lane.
Fort Dodge's Bryce Sommerfeld was the IMCA Hobby Stocks A feature winner, with Jade Lange of Humboldt placing second. Nick Sawdy of Fort Dodge took the 4.6 Crown Vics feature race, ahead fellow Fort Dodger Jim Hogan.
The IMCA Sport Mods feature event went to Kamdyn Haggard of Humboldt, with Sioux City's Josh Blom in the runner-up position. Devin Tripp of Sioux Rapids claimed the IMCA Stock Cars feature competition, ahead of Kamrar's Ryan Roath.
Chaz Baca of Jewell was the gold medalist in the IMCA Modifieds race, with Madrid's Andy Tiernan taking second. Brooke Osler of Milford topped Britt's Chalres Prime in the IMCA Sport Compacts A feature event.
Rex Jansonius was the Vintage Cars feature champ, as Brent McClendon of Ames earned runner-up honors.
More racing action is headed to Sports Park Raceway this Sunday, as the Late Model Special and all divisions will hit the track.
