MASON CITY -- The Fort Dodge boys golf team competed at Mason City on Thursday night.
Mason City won the meet with a 157. The Dodgers finished at 173, as senior Mason Frevert was meet medalist with a 36.
Waterloo East competed with three golfers.
"Mason played really well," said FDSH head coach Nick Vinson. "He was even par and had a couple of bad breaks, but was driving with accuracy."
Frevert started the meet with two straight birdies and was two-under par through five holes.
Camden Sassman was next in line with a 41, followed by Davis Underberg (44), Kinnick Hemrick (52) and Cameron Beck (52).
Leighton McCrady and Case Richardson both shot 46s for the junior varsity.
The Dodgers are back in action at home on Tuesday when they face Des Moines Lincoln.
