MASON CITY -- The Fort Dodge swim team opened the season at the Riverhawk Invitational on Saturday.
The Dodgers tied Mason City for fifth place with 166 points. Algona was sixth with 86.
Senior Kylen Lubensky (2:13.50) was sixth in the 200 individual medley.
Also sixth was Karlee Pearson (1:16.17) in the 100 breaststroke. Pearson was seventh in the 200 individual medley (2:35.25).
The 200 freestyle relay team of Pearson, Lubensky, Teagan Loots and Clara Brown (1:54.53).
Makayla Knox (6:13.56) was eighth in the 500 freestyle and Lubensky (1:09.70) was eighth in the 100 backstroke.
The Dodgers are back in action on Tuesday when they head to Des Moines East.
