IOWA FALLS – The Fort Dodge girls tennis team dropped an 11-0 decision to Iowa Falls-Alden here Thursday night.
Brooklyn Kaloupek forced a tiebreaker in her singles match before coming up just short.
"I thought we played really well against Marshalltown earlier this week," FDSH head coach Julie Astor said. "I was hoping that we had turned the corner, but we didn't come out with that same focus and intensity (in this meet), and it hurt us.
"We just need to move on and get the girls re-focused on the task at hand."
Teagan Loots won five games in her singles match for the Dodgers, with Grace Rivera winning four. In doubles, Kaloupek and Rivera won four games.
Fort Dodge hosts Des Moines North on Tuesday.
