The all-Twin Lakes Conference baseball first team featured three members from regular season league champion Emmetsburg, in addition to five from runner-up Pocahontas Area.
The E-Hawks went 10-0 in the league, finishing one game ahead of the Indians.
MJ Bay, Brennan Hasbrouck and Cooper Chizek all made the TLC first team for Emmetsburg. Pocahontas Area had Karson Welander, Xander Small, Blake Bunda, Brayden Hudson and Adam Marsh on the top squad.
Southeast Valley's Evan Bintz, Mason Bahr and Casey Hanson were also first-team honorees, with Newell-Fonda's Andrew Greenfield and Thomas Mercer also being recognized. West Bend-Mallard's Grady Goddard earned a spot there as well.
The second team included Newell-Fonda's Trevor Tauber, East Sac County's Zach Jacobsen, Emmetsburg's Aidyn Opheim and Ryan Wirtz, West Bend-Mallard's Tyler Hansen, Southeast Valley's Conner Rentz and Logan Jaeschke, South Central Calhoun's Cooper Nattress, Pocahontas Area's Gabe Halligan and Manson Northwest Webster's Dawson Marine.
Briar Rowley from Emmetsburg was the coach of the year.
Newell-Fonda went 10-0 to claim the softball league title over Pocahontas Area. The Mustangs had first-team all-TLC selections in Mylie Hinders, Quinn Sievers, Camryn Puhrmann and Ellie Sievers.
Lauren Hoover and Katie Rierson were honored for the Indians. Southeast Valley had Rian Schlief on the first team. Sarah Bontrager of East Sac County was also tabbed.
Earning spots on the second squad were Miranda Gerdes of East Sac County and Lauryn Lally, Newell-Fonda's McKayla Hanson, Jocee Walsh and Bailey Mandernach, Pocahontas Area's Kristin Axman and Emma Sobotka, Camryn Lane of Southeast Valley, Emmetsburg's Ingrid Gustafson and Grace Beneke from Manson Northwest Webster.
Chad Hinders and Brian Puhrmann of Newell-Fonda were coaches of the year.
