Long-time Fort Dodge Parks and Recreation Director Lori Branderhorst was recognized by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Thursday at Rogers Sports Complex. Branderhorst, who retired on June 30 after 46 years with the city, was a key figure in the recent contract extension that will keep state softball in Fort Dodge through at least 2045.
