MAGWED hosted its 50th annual fishing derby on Saturday at Triggs Bay Resort in Arnolds Park. Youth winners were (first photo, left to right): Quinn Christie (Roger Brown Youth Largest Walleye, 1 lb., 12 oz. and 17.75″); Eli Searcy (Largest Northern Pike, 8 lb., 9.5 oz. and 33.5″); Lincoln Christie (Largest Panfish — Yellow Bass, 1 lb., 4.5 oz. and 12.25″) and Olivia Nowell (Largest Bass, 5 lb., 3 oz. and 20.5″).

Adult division winners for 2026 (second photo) include (left to right): Steve Cabrera (Largest Walleye, 5 lb., 6.5 oz., 25.5″), Adam Arnold (Largest Northern Pike, 6 lb., 5 oz., 31″) and Zach O’Brien (Largest Bass, 5 lb., 0.5 oz., 19.5″).
