The Fort Dodge girls golf squad had their best nine-hole round of the season on Tuesday at the Fort Dodge Country Club, firing a 180 to defeat rival Mason City by 43 strokes.

Junior Emma Lloyd was meet medalist with a personal-best round of 40. The Dodgers secured the top six spots on the individual leaderboard, with Lloyd being followed by freshman Kinsley Nelson (43), senior Brielle Crouch (47) and freshman Emersyn Lara (50).

Senior Gracie Harvey (51) and freshman Allison Baade (54) were next in line for FDSH.

On Monday, the Dodgers were at the challenging Turk Bowman Invitational at Veenker Memorial Golf Course in Ames. Lloyd took 15th and Fort Dodge was eighth. Nelson was 33rd.
