ENID, Okla. — Iowa Central left no doubt this time in Oklahoma.

In a win or go home situation for the third straight day, the Tritons (53-11) made sure that their trip to the NJCAA Div. II World Series II wasn’t going to end.

Iowa Central rolled past Madison College (46-12), 15-6 to reach the Final Four.

The Tritons will now face Pearl River on Thursday at 3 p.m. at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

Iowa Central needs two victories to advance to the championship game.

The Tritons were hot with the bats, but pitcher Maddux Gast (9-1) kept the bullpen quiet, giving Iowa Central pitchers a day of rest.

Gast allowed nine hits and six earned runs, striking out seven and walking only one in the eight inning complete game.

The Tritons exploded early, scoring 10 runs in the first three innings and building a 12-2 advantage.

Tate Perrin was nearly perfect at the plate, going 5-for-6 with two RBI and three runs scored.

Six of the 19 hits were for extra bases. Ben Jones and Bennett Burke had home runs. Jones was 3-for-5 with four RBI and two runs. Burke had a solo shot.

Parker Studtmann was 2-for-5 with two doubles, four RBI and three runs scored.

Sawyer Stein, Wyatt Myers, and Will Specht had two hits each. Jones and Specht had doubles.

Perrin and Specht had two RBI, while Myers, Sam Sejnoha and Burke all drove in runs.
