TWIN LAKES — In only her second nine-hole round ever, St. Edmond’s Ashlyn Swisher finished as runner up against South Central Calhoun on Friday.

Swisher shot a 58 to finish second in the dual.

“Ashlyn just finished her first nine hole round on Tuesday,” said St. Edmond head coach Maury Ruble. “It was pretty cool to see her earn silver medalist honors on Friday.”

South Central Calhoun’s Sophia Wuebker had a 51 for medalist honors.

Rounding out St. Edmond’s scoring was Irelyn Derrig (65), Abby Webster (69), Ann Veneziano (70), Azalya Hill (72) and Abby Tofolin (72).

St. Edmond shot a 258 as a team.

South Central’s other score was a 65 from Sammy Schumacher.

Kaci McGonegle had a 63 for the Gael JV and Grace Fuller shot an 82.

The Gaels are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Hampton-Dumont-CAL.
