FD seventh graders place second

The Fort Dodge Middle School seventh grade girls finished second at the Dodger Relays on Tuesday.
The Dodger Red team scored 143 points, behind winner Iowa Falls-Alden (151). The Fort Dodge Black team (85) was fourth.
The Dodger Red team had six first place finishes.
Individual winners were Brandise Luc (67-01 in discus), Samyiah Neither (14.66 in 100), Raelynn Norton (1:15.36 in 400), Sydney Loots (6:30.26 in 1500) and Ashlynn Kinseth (32.37 in 200).
The quartet of Neither, Zoey Shelton, Emri Minkoff and Norton won the 4×100 in 59.35.
Individual runner up showings came from Norton (15.06 in 100), Macy Cook (1:16.48 in 400), Avery Friesth (21.57 in 100).
The 4×800 team of Kinsley Huse, Harper Lara, Cook, and Loots were second in 13:46.58.
Natalie Beckley, Kinseth, Zoey Shelton and Addalynn Merida were runners up in the 4×200 (2:11.24).
The sprint medley of Neither, Trystin Lyon, Nakiyah Hoffmeier and Cook were second in 2:21.15.
Jae Wilson was the lone winner for the seventh black team with a jump of 4-03 in the high jump.
Rylee Nelson (50-08 in discus), Ashtyn Sassman (34.40 in 200) and Ruthie Vinson (38.83 in 200) were also second for the Dodger Black squad.
