The Humboldt girls golf squad edged Fort Dodge in a triangular on Tuesday at the Fort Dodge Country Club.

The Wildcats carded a 192, with the Dodgers finishing at 197. Manson Northwest Webster (264) was third.

Sophia List was meet medalist, topping FDSH junior Emma Lloyd by a single stroke. List carded a 43 to Lloyd’s 44.

Jada VanDeWalle was third at 47 for the Wildcats. Dodger freshmen Emersyn Lara (50) and Kinsley Nelson (51) were next in line.

Livia Stewart (51) and Salem Bonnstetter (51) rounded out the Humboldt scorecard. Brielle Crouch (52) and Allison Baade (53) followed Lloyd, Lara and Nelson for Fort Dodge.

Addison McCullough’s 62 was low for the Cougars.

The Dodgers return to action at Ames next Thursday. The Wildcats are at Spencer on Monday. MNW hosts South Central Calhoun on Thursday.
