Dodgers win Dodger Relays

The Fort Dodge eighth grade Red team claimed the team title at the Dodger Relays on Tuesday.

Fort Dodge scored 120 points, just ahead of Iowa Falls-Alden (106).

The Dodgers came away with six event titles.

Addison Rauhauser doubled up, winning the discus (70-02) and the shot put (25-00).

Gretta Pratt was the long jump champion with a leap of 13-08.50.

The Dodgers were champions in three relay events.

Pratt, Alison Cornelio, Liz Harper and Brooke Rowe won the 4×800 (3:39.18).

The 4×200 team of Taliyah Martin, Autumn Lee, Maddy Potts and Jalynn Jackson Foy won the 4×200 (2:09.63).

The quartet of Jackson Foy, Lee, Martin and Marlene Sassman were the 4×100 champs in 57.94.

Finishing second for Fort Dodge was Sassman (14.15 in 100), Rowe 91:11.96 in 400), Cornelio (6:19.70 in 1500), Sophie Brown (20.09 in 100 hurdles) and Leah Harris (32.00 in 200).

The quartet of Brown, Sassman, Brenna Geilenfield, and Isabelle Stickrod finished second in the shuttle hurdle relay (1:25.70).
