DES MOINES — The Fort Dodge girls golf squad joined junior Emma Lloyd in earning runner-up honors at a quadrangular on Tuesday.

Lloyd carded a 45 to pace the Dodgers, who had a 209 as a team at Bright Grandview Golf Course. Ottumwa (196) was the winner, and Des Moines North’s Saleah Vivian-Vong (37) took meet medalist honors.

Kinsley Nelson (51), Brielle Crouch (55) and Emersyn Lara (58) had the other counting scores for FDSH.

Des Moines East and Des Moines Lincoln also competed in the event.

The Dodgers are scheduled to compete at Ames in a make-up dual on Thursday.
