Rajkovic rolls perfect game for Tritons

LANSING, Mich. — Nicholas Rajkovic rolled a 300 game for the Iowa Central men during the NJCAA National Bowling Tournament here Friday.

Rajkovic had his perfect game during the singles portion of the championships. He would finish fourth overall with a 698 series.

After singles and doubles, the Tritons are fifth overall in the men’s team race behind Rock Valley, Iowa Western, Vincennes and Barton. Saturday will see the conclusion of the meet.

Rajkovic is currently 13th overall in the all-event singles standings, as Iowa Central teammates Carter Fecher and Samuel Katzenberger are 26th and 27th.

For the Triton women, Madison Ninneman sits second in the all-event standings with 1,178 pins, as Peyton Mezo from College of Lake County is first at 1,205. Wren Starmer of Iowa Central is eighth and Emma Phelps is 12th.

Ninneman finished second in the singles championship with a 627 series while Starmer was seventh overall.

They have helped position the Tritons in second place overall, 133 pins behind Barton. Mid Michigan is third, Hudson Valley fourth and Jackson fifth.
