Iowa Central softball pushes streak to six
MELBOUNE, Fla. — The Iowa Central softball team has now won six games in a row following a Monday sweep of Miles and Williston State.
The Tritons opened the day with a 14-4 victory in five innings over Miles, following that up by downing Williston State in five, 10-1.
Natalie Rasmussen had two home runs vs. Miles, including a leadoff shot to start the scoring.
Iowa Central (9-3 overall) has a day off before returning to action on Wednesday vs. St. Cloud Tech and Macomb from USSSA Space Coast Stadium.
