Iowa Central competes at nationals
FORT PIERCE, Fla. — The Iowa Central swim team concluded the season here this past weekend at the NJCAA Championships, as the men placed fourth overall and the women were eighth.
Indian River State, the host school, swept both team titles once again.
Rasmus Skyving had the top individual finish for the men, placing fourth in the 1,650 free. Daniel Gonazles Jimenez was fifth in the same event.
Iowa Central’s 200 medley relay finished fourth while the men’s 400 free, 200 free, 400 medley and 800 free all were fifth.
For the Triton women, Maysen Smith was fourth in the 200 butterfly and fifth in the 200 back.
