Area athletes compete at Dickinson Relays

CEDAR FALLS — Several teams hit the indoor track and field scene here Monday night for the boys portion of the Dickinson Relays, including Southeast Valley and South Central Calhoun.

Alex Burger recorded the top finish for the Jaguars, as the junior was 17th overall in the 200 with a time of 23.81. He was also 31st in the 60 hurdles prelims.

Colin Johnson was 28th in the prelims of the 60 hurdles and 33rd in the 200, as Kolton Ollinger was 38th in the 60 hurdles prelims. Owen Nuss placed 33rd in the 800 and Ian Brunner finished 69th in the shot put.

The 4×800 relay of Logan Bintz, August Akins, Kasen Loeffler and Landon Vote placed 46th and the 4×200 relay of Keelan Wellman, Trennis Stevens, Ethan Martin and Colden Mapel was 60th.

For the Titans, Jace Pedersen finished 39th in the shot put and Darius Eigsti was 39th in the prelims of the 60 hurdles along with finishing 75th in the prelims of the 60.
