Iowa Central women easily take down NIACC
MASON CITY — The Iowa Central women’s wrestling team finished the regular season with a 36-17 victory over NIACC here on Wednesday.
The Tritons picked up seven victories — all by bonus points.
Erica Pastoriza (103) earned a fall to start off the dual. Annabelle Petsinger (131), Amaya Fairley Vasquez (160) and Praizh Suggs (180) all had pins as well for the Tritons.
Asia Jahangir (124) had an 11-0 tech fall victory. Molly Sek (110) and Aneth Campos (117) both won by forfeit.
The Tritons are back in action on Feb. 14 at Mason City for regionals.
