Fort Dodge hoop teams return home for a pair
The Fort Dodge basketball teams are hoping to turn the tide this week during a three-game stretch.
The Dodgers host Marshalltown on Tuesday and Mason City on Thursday, before traveling to Ames on Friday.
All three varsity doubleheaders will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the girls contests. The boys’ games are at 7:45 p.m.
Both FDSH squads have struggled with these three programs, as they’re a combined 0-6 on the season.
The Dodger girls (6-9 overall) are coming off a 42-41 win at Des Moines Lincoln on Saturday.
Senior LJ Maehl had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman Brooklyn Gilliland added eight points and eight boards.
