Dodger swimmers host triangular
The Fort Dodge boys swim squad continued their busy stretch here Thursday night, hosting Ames and Boone.
The Toreadors swept both duals, besting the Dodgers, 81-13, and the Little Cyclones, 56-38. Ames earned a 79-15 victory over Fort Dodge. This was the Dodgers’ fourth meet in a week.
Leading the way for the Dodgers was Aiden Seagren, who picked up a bronze in the 100 butterfly. Seagren finished in a time of 1:00.41.
The FDSH senior also placed fourth in the 200 individual medley in 2:20.18.
David Nelson was fifth in both the 200 freestyle (2:03.16) and 500 freestyle (6:05.75), as was Trevor Roberts in the 50 freestyle (26.38) and 100 freestyle (1:01.48.
Rowan Poutre added a fifth in the 100 backstroke in 1:20.13 for Fort Dodge.
The Dodgers head to Ottumwa on Saturday for the IAC meet beginning at 10 a.m.
