CEDAR RAPIDS — This past year has been a busy stretch for Izaih Clark, and the new year has begun the same way.

The Fort Dodge Senior High graduate returned to Iowa recently, competing in Cedar Rapids.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve raced in Iowa,” said Clark, who graduated from FDSH in 2019. “All of my family and friends were there.

“It’s always cool to go there and win, especially with my entire support system (in attendance).”

Clark did not disappoint. Competing on his Storm Lake Honda, he away with the win and continued to add to his points lead.

Clark is currently sitting atop the season points chart with 188 in the GT Arenacross AMA Championship Series.

The series is through eight rounds. Clark has finished first overall in three of the rounds to date.

“The GT series is going pretty well,” Clark said. “It’s cool leading the points, because I’ve never been a series point leader before.

“But I don’t feel any pressure (moving forward).”

There are four more rounds, with eight nights of the series in all.

Clark’s 2025 was packed with action. He competed in the East Coast Supercross, and even made a trip to Germany to race.

In the East Coast Supercross standings, Clark finished 21st.

“The Supercross season is coming up in February,” Clark said. “It’s been fun riding and competing.”

Clark has been on his bike a lot, competing in Arenacross and Supercross. Unlike other sports, the turnaround is quick from season to season.

“I’m always on my bike,” Clark said. “I can pick and choose my offseason and when I race, but its cool to keep riding.”

Starting at $4.94/week.
