Six straight for Cougars

JEWELL — The Manson Northwest Webster football team kept two streaks alive on Friday night.

The Cougars (6-2 overall, 5-0 Class 1A, District 2) have now won six consecutive games this season 10 straight district contests after a 41-12 triumph over South Hamilton (0-8, 0-5).

It was another big performance by Coy Moline, who scored in three different facets of the game and accounted for five touchdowns.

Moline had touchdown runs of one, four and 14 yards. He threw a 30-yard scoring strike to Jack Hoeppner, and finished the victory with a 50-yard touchdown reception from Isaiah Daggett.

Mason Anderson opened the scoring with a 22-yard jaunt to the end zone.

For the second straight season, the Cougars will now host a playoff game.
