New Hall class for Iowa Racing Museum
ALGONA — The Iowa Hall of Fame and Racing Museum has announced the induction of 14 members into its 2025 Hall of Fame Class during their seventh annual induction ceremony in November.
Earning induction are Jeff Aikey (Waterloo), Billy Allen (Des Moines), Bruce Badgely (Mingo), Scott Braun (Cedar Falls), Steve Davis (Hopkinton), Bob Dominacki (Blue Gras), Roger “Radar” Lechtenberg (Cedar Falls), Shawna Robinson (Catawba, NC), Mike Schulte (Norway), John Tibben (Victor) and Bob Weber (Burt).
Three individuals being inducted posthumously are George Barton, Ron Efkamp and Denny Osborn.
These well-deserving individuals represent drivers, owners, builders, car sponsors, promoters, motorcycle and drag racers and are well known in the racing community.
The 2025 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Saturday, Nov. 1st at the Briggs Woods Conference Center in Webster City.
Social hour will begin at 5 p.m. followed by dinner and the program. This event is open to the public and advance tickets are required. Tickets may be purchased through the Iowa Hall of Fame and Racing Museum website or by contacting Teresa Huffman at 515-835-2620.
The Iowa Hall of Fame and Racing Museum opened their new building at the Kossuth County Ag & Motorsports Museum located at 800 E Fair Street in Algona in April. This new location gives race fans access to an amazing collection of Iowa racing memorabilia and historical archives.
It is currently open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and open by appointment for group and individual tours.
