Lynx outlast Dodgers in five

WEBSTER CITY — Fort Dodge couldn’t outlast Webster City at the nets on Tuesday night.
The Dodger volleyball squad (4-20 overall) went the distance, dropping Game 5 by a final of 20-18.
Webster City (17-10) won the first set, pulling out a 25-17 victory.
Fort Dodge won the next two, 25-21 and 25-12. The Lynx sent the game to the do-or-die set with a 25-15 win.
In Game 5, the Dodgers took a 9-2 lead before the Lynx came up with a big rallies, outscoring the Dodgers 18-9 the rest of the way.
Fort Dodge is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Des Moines North for a tournament.
