DES MOINES — The Fort Dodge volleyball squad went undefeated to claim the silver bracket in the IAC Tournament here on Saturday.

The Dodgers (8-20 overall) handled Des Moines Lincoln, Des Moines Hoover, Des Moines North and Waterloo East.

In the 26-25, 25-16 and 15-8 victory over Lincoln, Sydney Carver recorded seven kills. LJ Maehl and Maeleena Meyer both contributed six.

Hope Alstott tallied 11 digs and Jonaya Foy chipped in eight. Alstott was 12-for-12 serving with four aces.

In the 25-15, 25-19 sweep of Hoover, Maehl tallied five kills. In the 25-17, 25-15 win over North, Carver and Maehl finished with six kills a piece.

In the 25-23, 25-20 triumph over East, Adyson Friesth led the way with nine kills.

Fort Dodge visits Spencer on Tuesday for a Class 4A regional quarterfinal. The Dodgers take on the Tigers (14-26) at 7 p.m.
