ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Iowa Central women’s soccer team made a statement in the season opener here Thursday, blasting Rochester Tech, 10-0 in 70 minutes.

For the Tritons (1-0 overall), Karma McMorris scored four goals while Alexandrea Villalobos had two. Sydney Hagen, Gracie Lozenski, Adar Mangok and Paige Groetsch each found the back of the net once.

Villalobos had three assists, Sydney Pettey and Lozenski two, as Hagen and Charice Auwerda each tallied one.

Next action for Iowa Central will be on Wednesday, Sept. 3 when they play at Kankakee in Illinois.
