Dodgers, Gaels ranked in top-eight
Both local softball teams remained in the Top-8 gaining home postseason contests.
The Dodgers (20-7 overall) still remain eighth in Class 4A.
St. Edmond (17-9) is rated seventh in Class 1A.
Newell-Fonda (16-6) is the third ranked team in Class 1A.
The top-ranked teams in the state are Waukee Northwest (5A), Cedar Rapids Xavier (4A), Dubuque Wahlert (3A), Van Meter (2A) and Wayne (1A).
