SCC girls finish second at home
LAKE CITY — The South Central Calhoun girls placed second at their home Ross Samuelson Co-Ed Relays here on Friday.
South Central Calhoun picked up three victories, led by double golds from Tristin Gorden. She won the shot put (35-09) and the discus (129-04).
Iris Melody was the 3,000 (11:23.26) gold medalist for the Titans.
Manson Northwest Webster also secured three victories on the evening.
Alyssa Richman was the 1,500 champion (4:56.19), while Kyla Egli was the long jump winner (16-09.5).
The quartet of Egli, Lucy Kohnen, Ava Messerly and Richman won the distance medley (4:27.65).
West Bend-Mallard had three event champs. Maddie Fehr prevailed in the 100 (13.09) and Allie Fehr was the high jump (5-02) winner.
The 4×200 squad of Lilly Morey, Addie Montag, Allie Fehr and Maddie Fehr crossed first for WB-M in 1:53.19.
Wendie Veit was the 400 hurdles (1:09.55) champion for East Sac County.
