MAGWED is this Saturday

The 49th annual MAGWED fishing tournament will be this Saturday at Triggs Bay Resort in Arnolds Park, Okoboji.

There are no registration or participation fees. Prizes will be awarded for largest walleye, largest Northern Pike, and largest bass (small or large-mouth) in both adult and youth divisions. The youth division also offers a biggest pan fish contest (perch, bluegill, crappie, sun fish and yellow bass).

Rules and regulations of the DNR will be followed. One fish per youth weighed in is eligible for a prize, limited to one per person. The main youth prize will be a bike.

Competition begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday morning. Weigh-ins are from 4-6 p.m. that day.
