MASON CITY — The Fort Dodge girls golf squad was edged by Mason City here on Tuesday.

Senior Braxtyn Dencklau secured medalist honors for the Dodgers, who lost by a final of 210-217. Dencklau carded a 47.

Sophomore Emma Lloyd placed third individually with a 50. Alani Crouse (56) and Brielle Crouch (64) had the other counting scores for FDSH.

The Dodgers are back on the course Thursday when they visit Greene County for a make-up dual.
