Sign-up period begins for Teener League Baseball
Registration is under way for the 2025 Teener Baseball League at Patterson Field.
Students currently in grades 6-9 from the area are encouraged to participate. An evaluation day will be held at Patterson Field on Monday, May 5, at p.m.
The Teener League runs from mid-May through mid-July. There is no cost to play.
Neven Conrad, a long-time Patterson Field advocate and Fort Dodge Baseball Association officer, is taking over the league this year for the reitring Art Johnson.
Local baseball legend and Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Famer Jerry Patterson opened Patterson Field in 1968. The Teener program has been a staple of the iconic Fort Dodge venue for decades.
Johnson took over full park duties and ran the league after Patterson died in 2012.
Registration is available at the ballpark’s new website, pattersonfieldfd.com. For more information, please email Conrad at pattersonfieldfd@gmail.com.
