MANSON — Matt Condon made the most of his final time competing on his home track, as the Manson Northwest Webster senior won four events here Tuesday night at the Mike Jepson Relays.
Carroll took home overall team honors with 118 points, as Southeast Valley was second with 101. The host Cougars finished third, followed by South Central Calhoun, St. Edmond, Eagle Grove, Pocahontas Area and East Sac County.
Condon, who competed last week at the Drake Relays and also broke the school record in the high jump, won the 110 hurdles (15.89), 400 hurdles (54.45), long jump (21-0.5) and high jump (6-2).
The Manson NW 4×800 relay was also first in 8:42.30. Thatcher Oswald scored two seconds in the 400 and 800 to go along with a runner-up by Jack Hoeppner in the 800.

The Gaels won the meet-closing 4×400 relay in 3:35.41 behind Levi Odor-Westrum, Grant Galles, Anthony Valles and Aaron Hindt. They were also runners-up in the 4×800, 4×200 and sprint medley.

Two junior varsity races went to St. Edmond runners, as Crimmins won the 1,600 and Aidan Reel the 800.
“I was really happy with the performances,” SEHS head coach Donn Larson said. “We took 14 kids and 10 ran varsity. Anthony had a big night, going a personal best 2:02 in the 4×8.
“We really have some options as far as what we want to do at districts with the kids.”
Southeast Valley’s Kayden Showers was first in the 100 (11.6) and second in the 200, as the Jaguars also won the shuttle hurdle (1:04.04), 4×100 (44.16) and 4×200 (1:32.61).
Runner-up finishes for Southeast Valley belonged to Dreyvon Steadman in the 100, Colin Johnson in the 400 hurdles, the distance medley relay and 4×400 relay.
