ALGONA -- Defending champion Bishop Garrigan made it look easy for the second straight week.
The Golden Bears (3-0 overall, 2-0 districts) cruised to a 56-7 win over Rockford (0-3, 0-1) on Friday Night.
Both Trayton Cink and Tate Foertsch had two touchdowns each. Cink had scoring runs of three and 29 yards. He finished with 78 yards on the ground.
Foertsch threw a 33-yard TD pass to Owen Murphy and 26-yard scoring strike to Michael Joyce. Foertsch finished 7-for-8 for 125 yards.
Recording rushing touchdowns were Andrew Lichter (8 yards), Kyle Bormann (11) and Matt Besch (seven).
CJ McGregor threw a four-yard touchdown pass to Thadd Kollasch.
Ethan Marso led the Golden Bears with eight tackles. Carter McGregor added six tackles, and Lichter tallied five.
Keaton Helleseth recovered a fumble.
